Our Employees

Our most valuable resources at Topflight are our employees. We strive to hire and retain the best talent available in order to continue to grow our position in the marketplace. We take great pride in hiring creative problem solvers on all levels and in all areas of the business. Our highly skilled operators continually hone their craft on cutting-edge equipment, and the depth of expertise in our Research and development area is among the best in the industry.

In our desire to maintain our traditions of top quality and service to our customers, it is critical that we continue to build and develop our team members through individual development, team-building, and cross-training. The endurance of our employee base speaks for itself, as 30% of our employees have been with Topflight for more than 20 years!

Brent Engle

President

Brent Engle is the President at Topflight. He oversees all aspects of the business including financials, sales, and operations.

Before being named to President in April of 2023 he was the Director of Sales and managed the sales and customer service teams. Responsibilities included end-to-end management of sales activities, supply chain, and customer service and support. He also partners with Engineering and Technical services to develop products and services in emerging markets inside the Health Care and Consumer Products Divisions.

Prior to joining Topflight Brent held several leadership positions in various Packaging arenas.

Brent earned is BS from Penn State University and currently resides in Lancaster PA with his wife Renee and his two sons Chase and Cole.

David Heath

Controller

Dave Heath is our Controller with over 30 years of manufacturing experience in various industries including: Flexo, Digital & Die-Cut Labels, Solar Power Equipment, Corrugated Boxes & Display Printing, Acetylene & Propane Tanks, Transdermal Drug Delivery Pharmaceuticals, Laminate Vinyl, Government Contracts and Oil & Gas Exploration.

He has worked for 15 years in Public Companies (SEC) and 15 years in Private Companies. His focus is on Continuous & Process Improvement, Cost Reduction, Manufacturing Efficiencies (KPI) and Preparing and Adhering to the Annual Budget.

Dave has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from Loyola University in Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Pete Knaub

Director of Technical Services

Pete Knaub is our Director of Technical Services and has over 20 years of engineering and leadership experience in narrow web printing and converting. By actively partnering with customers’ design teams, he has developed products and components for wearable sensors, drug delivery, diagnostics, RFID, printed conductives, and a variety of specialty labels.

As a Penn State chemical engineering graduate, he started his career in specialty chemicals at Dow before transitioning to supporting growth-focused product and process development at Topflight. Out of the office, you can find Pete on some kind of family adventure, working or playing in the yard…hopefully more playing than working.

Bob Harrington

Plant Manager

Bob Harrington is our Plant Manager and has 35 years of experience in flexographic printing and converting.

He employs a unique skillset having operated presses for 10 of those years and another 25 years in management.

This knowledge base contributes to the most efficient methods possible and a thorough understanding of what is needed to produce high-end products.

He can be found singing and playing various musical instruments in his spare time.

Jami Silar

Director of Quality

Jami Silar is our Director of Quality at Topflight Corporation.

Jami has dedicated 32 years to manufacturing in the York, PA area.

She has 15 years of Quality Management experience in Medical Device, Automotive and General Manufacturing; 10 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering with the responsibility of IQ, OQ, PQ, PPAP, APQP, SPC, First Article Inspection, Capability Studies, DOE, Gage R&R, Measurement Analysis, and Correlation Studies. 7 years of Quality Technician experience with the responsibility of GD&T, First Piece Inspection, In-Process Inspection, Final Audit, and SPC.

John Bennett

Director of Sales

John joined Topflight in February 2024. John has held numerous executive, senior management & technical marketing positions over his 35 years in the pressure sensitive labeling & specialty adhesive / laminating industry.

John comes to Topflight after being the Northeast Sales Manager for Tailored Label Products. John was responsible for opening a greenfield territory for TLP and developing business for them in labeling solutions for durable products, pharmaceutical / diagnostics and other value-added complex applications.

John spent most of his career at Flexcon Company. He championed the consolidation of two businesses in 2000 and was promoted to the position of Vice President of the Product Identification Business team. John developed Flexcon’s customer education program, has numerous contributions to new product platforms,& technologies and was responsible for Flexcon’s industry associations and co-supplier partnerships.

John is a former trustee on the TLMI Board of Directors, chairman, consumables committee for A.I.M., Co-Chair on the TLMI Industry Trends Committee, and he also served as FLEXcon’s liaison to F.T.A.

John enjoys sharing his many hobbies and spending time with his family and friends.

Mark White

Business Development Representative

Mark White is our Business Development Representative for Industrial Label Applications including Law Tags, Solar Panels, Automotive including EV, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Product Decoration, and prime labeling.

He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and has over 30 years of consultative sales experience.

Away from the office, Mark is a professional musician, a long-suffering Braves and Browns fan, and a very involved Pop to his & wife Sheila’s grandchildren.

Lori Priest

Business Development

Lori Priest has 25 years of experience in business development, consulting, and project management specializing in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Packaging arena.

She loves spending time outdoors with family and friends.

You can find her on most weekends boating, fishing, and camping with her fur babies.

Dan Fitts

Key Accounts Manager

Dan Fitts is our key accounts manager for health and beauty labels. He is a Florida State Alumni that is passionate about process improvement, the NE Boston Terrier Rescue and FSU Football.
